In motion

Next to motion pitcutres, I also work with the actual motion through performance and varied movement methods.  Throughout the past decade, I have been both practicing and holding space for free form movement techniques including: Authentic Movement, Gaga, Butoh, Instant Composition, BMC, Transformative Dance, among others. I am dead keen on juxtaposing movement methods with other art forms, especially documentary film.

Sensory Lab

Postion: Co-Author
Status: Finished

Sensory Lab was an interdisciplinary digital art project, which came to life as a collaboration between independent dancers, performers, visual anthropologists and filmmakers from Belarus, Israel, Germany and Poland. We came together in response to COVID-19 pandemic and a burning need to stay connected through creativmovement. Throughout July 2020 we offered online movement workshops, film screenings and exchange of artistic works - all centred around the topics of memories stored within our bodies, sensuality, pleasure and rest seen also as activism.

Poetic Body

Postion: Performer
Status: Finished

Poetic Body was a Berlin-based performance collective led by choreographer María Sánchez Alonso. Experiencing different improvisation techniques - Action Theatre, Instant Composition, Dance Improvisation, Creative Writing and Butoh, we worked intensively with the body and its ocean of expression, allowing the poetics of the body and its presence in motion to unfold and take it into compositions. In years 2017-2020 we developed collectively an annual improvised performance piece presented to public in Berlin.
